Wildlife Biome MapsIllustration Year: 2022 Illustrated wildlife maps created for Centre for Wildlife Studies, India’s environmental education program Wild Shaale, in collaboration with National Geographic.
The maps were solely created for the program. The wildlife maps were created as part of revamping the Wild Shaale program. They were designed and illustrated for the program’s modules.
Each map depicts a different biome found in India and different wildlife that is iconic and specific to the biome. The map shows six categories of animals and vegetation from the biome: reptile, bird, amphibian, insect and vegetation. A total of seven maps were made: (1) Deciduous, (2) Desert, (3) Himalayan, (4) Rainforest, (5) Scrub Deciduous, (6) Wetland and (7) India.
This is a visual aid for the module that was designed for the program.
